Northallerton Camera Club

Welcome to the new web site of Northallerton Camera Club. We are a local club, centred on the North Yorkshire market town of Northallerton, but drawing our membership from the surrounding towns and villages as well. We have achieved success both locally and at national level, whilst continuing to keep a warm welcome for photographers of all ages and abilities.

The club was inaugurated in 1933 and during the 2008/09 season

we have been celebrating our

We held a "Public Exhibitions" of the Club's work in Northallerton Town Hall and the Friage Hospital, a shop window display "Photography through the Ages" at Barkers in the High Street, and Charlie Waite, presented our "Birthday Lecture" For more details of these events click here. A CD entitled "A History of Northallerton Camera Club", given to every member of the club, included not only a detailed history of the club but also portfolios and shows of members' pictures from today and yester-year.

Don't forget that we have two more events yet to come.

On Sunday 14th June 2009 we shall be mounting an Exhibition of Prints at the North Yorkshire Show.

On Sunday 28th June 2009, weather permitting, our President invites all our members to their home in Sowerby for a Picnic to round off our year.

The Club will also be mounting its regular Annual Exhibition in the Library at East Road, Northallerton during the latter three weeks of August.

Our season is from September to April.

Unless stated otherwise in the Programme

we meet every Monday evening at 7.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall,

Brompton, Northallerton, DL6 2QT.

DIGITAL EVENINGS are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays in the Month (£2 per session additional charge)

During the summer months we arrange monthly outings.

Subscriptions - "NO increase for 2009/10"

Adult Members:- £24.00p for the full season;

Junior Members:- £12.00p.

After Christmas the above rates are halved.

Visitors:- £1 per evening

Any visitor fees paid will be refunded if you subsequently join the club.
